I admit, many people have jobs which require them to sit whole day at work but what they need to do is to just take a 2-3 minutes break in an hour and walk a bit around your office, maybe to go to loo or like that. Take some time off from the computer screen as well as it will be beneficial for both..the knees and eyes as well. Also having some regular physical exercise like walking will help a lot, in maintaining your weight and also for the body not to get locked up and lazy.

Many people who have constant pains in their knees and are over-weight should not really go for the kill. Take it slowly, walk for only 5 minutes if you want...don't over-exert yourself as it may hurt you more than do any good. Also check your doctor and get the best plan for your physical exercise routine which won't cause any harm to your health.

Great tips. I have arthritis which means my knee pains come and go. When they are here, moving a lot from sitting to standing to walking, almost always helps keep them from getting too bad. I don't eat a specific arthritis diet, but I do strive to eat healthily, and I definitely appreciate Motrin when the knee pain really bugs me.
